Update on My Van Life

I’d like to update my readers on what I’m doing and the future of this website. I left in March knowing I only had enough funds to last until August. To replenish my bank account, I took a short term job in South Carolina. This means I won’t be doing much traveling for the next 6 months. However, there is a lot to explore in South Carolina that I’ll be able to blog about. I tried to find a telecommuting job, but I figured I’d make the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time this way.

I had to clean up for some interviews.

I met a girl in South Carolina. We celebrated the 4th of July on a mountain.

I’m also pursuing a Masters Degree at Johns Hopkins University. It’s an online program in Bioinformatics. I’ll be able to continue traveling while earning the degree and it’ll open up a lot of doors for me.

I have no intention of leaving the van life. While working this job, this lifestyle will enable me to save enough money to take another mini retirement. I want to live for today.

I have no intention to stop updating this website. There are still some van conversion posts that I’ve been working (procrastinating) on. I’ve been busy with interviewing and school stuff the last few weeks. Once I get into a routine at this new job, I’ll carve out some free time to keep making posts.
