Video Tour of My Sprinter Conversion Van

I met up with two other mobile dwellers in New Orleans. They did a video tour of my conversion van. Check it out:

Make sure you check our their channels and give them support. Jed: Into the Mystery 13, Cory: The Moody Traveler. Jed also has a pretty cool website about van life: http://www.IntoTheMystery13.com They’re both awesome people and I had a fun time hanging out with them. I love meeting like-minded people. It’s a good feeling when you don’t have to explain your life-style to someone. They just automatically understand and appreciate it.

After this video was published, I received a lot of questions about my air conditioner. I’ll definitely be making a post explaining all the details of this in the near future. I still have a lot of other posts to catch up on as well. So stay tuned and subscribe to get email alerts when I post.

Hey, love the details of your build and it’s great to see you reaching your goals and living the van life!
I’m in the dreaming/planning stages and I was curious about your induction cook top? My research says they are about 1500-1800 watts? Is yours rated that high also? I doubt I’ll have 1000 watts of solar, so I was curious if you have any issues cooking? Could I run one with less solar on the roof?

    Cheers

    • Joe

Thanks Grant! Yes, my cooktop is rated at 1650 watts. I don’t have any issues cooking, but I usually cook on the 900 watt setting. You could definitely run one with less solar on the roof. It all depends on the size of your battery bank.

Awesome, thank you. I actually found that out when I read more of your posts. I didn’t realize the settings were that flexible. I can’t wait to get that kind of set up. Is your sprinter registered as a commercial vehicle?

        • Joe

Nah, it’s just registered as a truck.
